Student Council

Student Council is a group of elected and volunteer students working together with an adult advisor within the framework of a constitution or bylaws to provide a means for student expression and assistance in school affairs and activities, give opportunities for student experience in leadership and encourage student / faculty / community relations.

Forensics

Sheboygan Lutheran is a member of the Wisconsin High School Forensic Association.  Its mission is to provide an opportunity for students to enhance communication skills through participation in theatre, debate, and speech.  LHS is involved in the Speech category.  There are 16 different categories in which students can choose to participate.  This allows for a variety of students with differing abilities to display and improve upon their skills in an academic setting.

Games Club

Games Club is an informal gathering of students that like to play games and enjoy Christian fellowship with one another. Games like chess are included but we also play a wide variety of board games both American and European. New games are introduced on a regular basis and our club meets once each week  from 3:30 to 4:30 on a day convenient for those able to play. Christian leaders develop their minds and thinking skills and board games help to do just that! All skill levels are included... so come one, come all, the games await!

InterACT Club

To help achieve Lutheran High's mission of Preparing Christian Leaders - One Student at a Time, the Interact Club provides a way for students to participate in service. Sponsored by the Sheboygan Early Bird Rotary, we have the goal of providing service, friendship and fun. We participate in a host of projects each year: Feed My Starving Children, Operation Christmas Child, Meals on Wheels, Making Spirits Bright, and our sponsor’s annual Lobster Boil to name a few. These events form our image of vocation, to love and serve our neighbor. As high school students, we often feel unimportant or insignificant to achieving this. However, Interact strives to provide students with opportunities to better our community.

National Honor Society

National Honor Society is a national organization run by the National Association of Secondary School Principals. NHS is designed to recognize and encourage academic achievement and develops other characteristics essential to citizens in a democracy. The main ideals contain scholarship, character, service, and leadership.

Pep Club

Pep Club has a huge impact on "school spirit."  Besides making signs and posters for the games, they coordinate dances, activities at the basketball games, and special dress-up nights (i.e.  "black out" - everyone wears black tee shirts, etc.).  Be sure to join the fun!

Bowling Club

The Sheboygan Youth Bowling Club is comprised of middle and high school students from many Sheboygan County schools for the purpose of forming bowling teams to compete in the Wisconsin High School Bowling Traveling League. Historically based out of Lakeshore Lanes in Sheboygan, our teams have claimed state titles for the past 9 years. We compete within our district which includes schools from Sheboygan, Fond du Lac, Calumet, and Manitowoc counties to earn spots at our state tournament the first weekend of March. We take boys and girls of all skill levels and have a dedicated staff of certified coaches to meet all needs. Contact [email protected] for more information.
