Be a Crusader for a Day! Join 7th & 8th graders from our SALSA elementary schools to get a glimpse of life at LHS! Students will be paired with a current Crusader, attend classes and chapel, and more. Plus, we'll feed them lunch!

Parents, you are invited too! Join us for chapel, a parent presentation on what makes SLHS unique, and helpful tips on making the leap from middle school to high school...followed by a free lunch.

SCHEDULE FOR THE DAY

STUDENTS
9:15 am - Arrival and welcome. Meet in conference room #404 of the Performing Arts Center
9:35 am - Chapel
10:00 am - Attend classes and lunch.
12:50 pm - Gather in the theater for a Pep Band performance, scavenger hunt, and pep talk by Mr. Tschudy
1:45 pm - Departure

PARENTS
9:15 am - Coffee and donuts in the atrium of the Performing Arts Center
9:35 am - Chapel
10:00 am - Parent presentation and Q&A with Mr. Tschudy, Executive Director, and Mrs. McKnight, School Counselor
11:00 am - A light lunch will be served in the atrium.
12:00 pm - Departure

TIPS AND TIDBITS

• Transportation to and from the experience day must be provided for all non-SALSA students.
• LHS asks that all student guests abide by our dress code by not wearing blue jeans, shorts, athletic pants, or legging. Dress pants are recommended.
• Lunch will be provided for all student guests in the cafeteria.
