FAQs

Q: Are there any "non-refundable" deposits?

A: Yes, your April $500 deposit is non-refundable.

Q: Can we substitute someone for another person on the trip?

A: Yes. You just need to pay the person back for their portion of the trip and then finish the payment for your portion of the trip. You may do this up to 90 days before the trip without an administrative penalty. Insurance purchases are non-refundable and non-transferable. After the 90 day mark it depends on if tickets are printed and there is an administrative fee.

Q: How much time on buses?

A: There will be a few hours sometimes per day on buses as there is a quite a bit of ground to cover during the 9 days.

Q: How much walking and hiking will there be?

A: There will be a lot of walking. This is especially true in Athens. Athens it is much easier and more time efficient to get around on foot than by bus. You are encouraged to bring comfortable walking shoes. There is hiking and walking in other places. Many are bus accessible but afterwards you will need to walk places throughout the areas we visit.

Q: What are temperatures like in Greece?

A: Temperatures in July tend to fall between 70 and 92. The closer you are to the coast the cooler it can be as you get a breeze off of the sea. Our tour is up and down the eastern coast of Greece by the sea. It can reach 92 but it can also be cooler with a nice breeze. Make sure to have drinking water with you on the trip and to wear clothes that allows you to be cool.

Q: Can we use Credit Cards in Greece?

A: We can use our credit cards but should also have cash as some of the smaller shops only take cash. There are ATMs there that will be useable.
